Ramadan 2

Salam everyone.

Ramadan is going well for me. Ive stopped a few things like my walking group on Tuesdays. I final got my flat clean, with some help from my keyworker and caught that mouse that has been running around  my flat. The houseing officer was imprested with me. My horse riding has been going well and enjoyed it on Monday and felt aright with me helping up at the stables. I could have stayed for the afternoon but had to get home to pack for London and clean my flat again as I had a friend coming for ifta. She wasnt muslim, she was Christan and it was nice to spend time with her. Last Friday, I went to Friday prayers in the mosque at Bournemouth and I really enjoyed it. I stayed there till ifta and stayed to taraweeh prayer. It was so nice to pray and break my fast with muslim sisters. I didnt get home till 1am on Saturday morning. I stayed up till fajr and then went to bed after. On Saturday afternoon, I went to Bournemouth Mosque again, did ifta and prayed taraweeh again. It was lovely.
Im now in London for a week and having a lovely time so far. I had a good jorney up here and I brock my fast whist on t train and shortened my prayers. Today, Im back to normale so prayers at normale length and fasting like I normale do. Insha allah, I will have a good time here.

Ramadan 1

Salam Alikum, Ramadan Mubrak.

I cant beilve its the start of Ramadan. I've been fasting over the last few day. I haven't had the easyest start to the monthof fasting. On my 1st day of fasting, I had a horse jumping lesson and I felt quite weak after the lesson. I dashed home, had a shower and got changed then prayed Zuhr. My keyworker and my CPN came round to see my flat and its was still in a bit of a mess and weren't so imprested. I went to the denstic to have my teeth looked at and the were fine. I stayed up till fajr and didnt go to bed till 4:30am. I was cleaning my flat quietly. The next day I had to get up early as my hosing officer was coming round to see my flat. I quickly did some washing up as I watched her go down the street visteting the other lats she had to see. She came round and my flat wasn't perfect so she's coming round to see it again next week. I went round to a friends house and had a chat. I then went to my parents house for a few hours, I prayed asr whist they were eatting. I felt I wasn't welcome there that night as mum said I had to go home to eat my food but she did provided me with a really nice fish pie. I went to Tescos on my way home and I was fine. I went to bed at a reasonable time. Friday morning, I over slepted my alarms so only had 5 mins to eat and drink so I only had a drink. I went to the stables to help out in the morning and spent the whole time leading ponys in lessons and ride outs. I skipped out and felt my legs started to go and was glad they didnt need me for the afternoon so I went home. When I got home, I had a shower and put PJs on, prayed, watched a DVD and then went to sleep for a few hours. I felt better but slepted thought Asr. Oppps. I brock my fast, prayed magbr, had some food, watched some TV, prayed isha and then went to bed. This morning I got up for fajr and had my food, tablet and vitermins. I feel alright today but felt a little sick earlyer. Going to try and catch up on my Quran reading.
I will right again soon.

Friday

I had a day off helping at the stables last Friday, because my foot was infected, so after much deliberating, I desided to go to the mosque in Bournemouth to hear the Friday surman. The traffic in my town was a nightmare so I desided to go out of my town, heading towads the part of my county called Purbeck. After a town called Wareham the traffic got really bad. I was looking at my clock in my car and realised that that I wasnt going to get to the prayer on time so I desised to take the 1st left and head back towards home. On my way back I desiced to go to Monkey World. It a monkey and ape resue center. If you have a tv you may of seen in the program called Monkey Bisness or more resently called Monkey Life. I love those programs. I went there last year with my ex-boyfriend and really enjoyed it apart from he kepted complaining. Men, all the same. This time I went on my own, as I have no man in my life and I'm practising Islam now, so I could wonder round at my own pace and lisoren to the talks about the monkeys. I really liked that. It was intresting wondering round the park as I was wearing a Packistany/Indian outfit with matching hijab and of course I'm white English. Not the typical thing someone my age and ethnestis to wear on a really nice day. I didnt really care about what people thought about me. I love m clothes and I choose to wear what I want. I wear the hijab for my creator as part of my worship to him.
I had a lovely day out of my flat but really dreaded going back into it as it was a complet mess but it is nearly done now.
Im going to go now and do my washing of my body as m hormale time is now over and need to be pure so I can started praying again.
Salam Alikume.

1st blog

I normale do a video blog on YouTube but now I've desided to try a written blog as most of my friends have one, so here we go.
This week has been a bit of a mad week. I had a horse step on my foot last Friday and it was very painful but got on with my work I had to do at the stables. My foot then swelled up on Friday night and was a bit worried about so I went to my local hospital Minor injoreys unit to have it  looked at. They said it was fine. I left it for a few days. . On Wednesday, I saw my keyworker and she said thought my foot looked infected  so I went back to the hospital and had my foot x-rayed to see if it was brocken. Alhumdillah, it wasn't brocken. I then got put on a course of anitbiotics so, insha allah, it will clear up. I saw my wound today as the dressing had come off and its starting to look better.
I lost my purse over that weekend and had to go into town to cancel my bank cards. I also went shopping for a few things and got a nice dress for Eid at the end of Ramadan in September.
I've been very emotional this week as I've been a little hormoanl and not been eatting and drinking enothe. It also doesnt help the fact my flat is a complet mess and really need to clean it.
Trying to deside on what to do tomoro as I can't go to the stables due to my foot. I might go to the Mosque in Bournemouth. Only Allah knows what I'm going to do.
